PERFECT ON-THE-GO BREAKFAST
We made these breakfast sliders recently and they were an absolute hit! They’re a great breakfast recipe – we absolutely devoured them and I know I’ll be making them again. They’re a great breakfast recipe for little hands, too! With the savory delicious breakfast taste of the ham, egg, and cheese – they’ll easily turn into a favorite in your house too! They can also be made in advance and you can just pour the butter over the sliders before baking.
Before you do anything, I highly suggest gathering up your ingredients for your breakfast sliders. It just makes it so much easier in the kitchen!
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
slider buns (butter or potato)
butter or olive oil
salt & pepper, to taste
6 sliced cheese
HOW TO MAKE HAM, EGG & CHEESE BREAKFAST SLIDERS:
Preheat the oven to 350F. Cut the sheet of slider buns in half through the middle to create two “slices” of slider bun sheets. Place the bottom half of slider bun sheets in a casserole dish. Set aside.
In a skillet, melt the butter over medium-heat. Whisk together eggs in a medium-sized bowl until fully blended. Pour into the skillet and stir constantly. Season with salt and pepper and cook until eggs are scrambled and cooked through. Remove skillet from heat.
Place an even layer of ham on bottom slider bun sheet you placed in a casserole dish from earlier.
Add scrambled eggs.
Then layer on sliced cheese.
Then, place the top half of slider bun sheets over the slider fillings.
Pour the melted butter evenly over the sliders. Note: I know some people will ask about the amount of butter. Yes, you can cut back to just one stick if you think it’s too much. We preferred two sticks.
Cover the casserole dish with foil. Bake in the oven for 20-30 minutes, until the butter has been fully absorbed by the slider buns. Cut and serve!
